So it’s been a bit of a hiatus~ Been working on a friend’s birthday invitation illustration alongside Nish, which has been an excellent collaboration, as always. It’s always great to have a friend whom you can connect on an artistic level too, and our collaborations have always been conflict free, which isn’t easy on creative fronts, as far as I have heard!

Once I have the birthday girl’s permission, I’ll post up the image which I sketched for her. Nothing too over the top, she’s a tasteful kind of person. It was such fun to work on as well!

This was rendered in watercolour pencil and pen and ink- swiped my fine nib pen over the sink the other day and definitely dented it. Time for a new nib..sigh. It feels great to be back doing random sketches~~
